Sorry for the super long break between posts. I got super sick for a while, then we moved, so things have been super chaotic! I'll try to keep up better from here on out. :)

| About 6 weeks... |
What I miss about pre-pregnancy life: Um, I can't think of anything in particular. Someone died recently on one of my favorite coasters, so I'm not missing them as much at the moment. Oh! I know something I miss... not being a hormonal mess 24/7. I fully believe at this point that my previous emotional stability was VASTLY under-appreciated. :-P
Symptoms: Wellllllll, the first week and a half of my second trimester, I was pretty convinced I was going to die. Literally. Turns out feeling horrific in every possible way is rather normal. Of course it is! I went to my midwife at 15w5d and she said all is well. She didn't yell at me for not gaining weight and she did an ultrasound so my dad could see baby. I heart her. :)

What I'm most excited about: FINDING OUT THE GENDER!! The closer it gets, the more I can't stop obsessing over it. Yikes!
Something I've done to prepare for baby: Searching desperately for a boy name. We have lots of cute girl names, but our top two boy names have been stolen. Boo! I'm currently going through the entire baby name book alphabetically. We shall see! :)
Special moment:My awesome aunt had her super cute baby! He was HUGE! 9lb 4oz of pure awesome! I can't wait to meet his little self. :))
Funny moment:Conversations between my favorite people and I:
Marlen: I want to go to a shooting rage!
Me: Oh yeah! Me too!
Marlen: Ummm can you go now or do you have to wait until after baby?
Me: ...... I don't know.
Marlen: You're the one that knows everything about pregnancy!!
Me: *looks it up when I get home*
Verdict: I don't want to have to ask my midwife if I can go shoot guns b/c I'm sure she'll think I'm nuts, so I'm just going to wait. haha
Shane: I can't sleep.
Me: I'll tell you a story! *proceeds to tell a really ridiculous and probably not entirely accurate version of The Three Little Pigs that ended with the smart one being a tad cannibalistic... whoops!*
Shane: Thanks, babe!
Me: *Starts telling Harry Potter from the very beginning in perfect detail b/c I'm obsessed and know it by heart*
Shane: Ummm Harry and Voldemort fight and Harry wins! The end!
Me: I'd still have the epilogue...
Shane: OH DEAR GOD!
Verdict: Never go toe to toe with a HP fanatic. ;)
My life is generally pretty funny. :-P These are just the two convos that came to mind. Shane still thinks "3-6mo sleepers are newborn size!" jokes are hilarious. Myself and my lady parts BEG TO DIFFER. -_- He's lucky he's cute.

As you can tell from the above pictures, my belly is growing like crazy. I don't think I've gained any weight yet, but the bump will not be denied! I absolutely LOVE it! I'll probably regret saying this in a few more weeks, but I can't wait for it to get bigger! :)
